We will be distributing hot meals to around 200+ homeless/inner-city poor in the downtown Augusta area. We will also be supplying hygiene products, take home snacks, and clothing.

Additional Supplies Needed: We will have everything needed on site.

Inclement Weather Plan: We continue as planned, rain or shine

Restrictions: Volunteers must be at least 6 years old. Children are welcome to come and participate in Bridge Kids or stay with their parents and help serve.

Will a consent form be required to participate? No

Additional Notes:

Our mission statement is to love and care for the inner-city poor and homeless. We provide food, clothing, hygiene, shoes, winter apparel, outdoor equipment and basic needs. We provide 300-400 thousand pounds of food annually, serving twice a week through our food pantry and adopt a block outreaches. Every Saturday, we serve 300 hot meals under a bridge in downtown Augusta, GA to the homeless and poor, also providing necessary supplies and sharing words of encouragement and hope. We believe love unlocks the fullness of life; it turns a meal into a feast, and it turns a stranger into a friend.
