Painting of window and door trim. Touch up of walls,if needed. General cleaning of rooms and other areas, especially drapes.
Additional Supplies Needed: Paint, brushes, and other needed paint supplies and equipment. Vacuums cleaners, dusters, and needed cleaning supplies.
Inclement Weather Plan: Project is indoors.
Restrictions: Volunteers must be at least 15 years old. We perfer minors to be supervised by an adult parent. They must have the skill to paint
Comfort House is a not-for-profit charitable (501c3) organization that provides low cost housing for families of adult hospitalized persons. Our goal is to provide a home away from home for families at times of a loved one’s medical need. Guests are referred from local hospitals. There is no discrimination on the basis of race, sex, religion or national origin. Guests are provided with a private room with bath, TV, and Wifi access. There are shared communal areas , a living room, well stocked kitchen, laundry facilities and off-street parking.
