The First Tee of Aiken is a youth development program that teaches life skills, core values, and healthy habits through the game of golf. The First Tee of Aiken offers programs to young people ages 5-18. Volunteers from Augusta University would be assisting with classes and on-course play. Golf experience is not required.

Additional Supplies Needed: We just ask that volunteers are in appropriate golf attire (non-denim bottoms, collared shirt, athletic or golf shoes). All equipment will be provided by The First Tee of Aiken.

Inclement Weather Plan: Classes are held rain or shine. In the event of rain, classes will be held indoors.

Restrictions: Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. Must be 18 years old and complete a background check. Background check information will be provided by The First Tee of Aiken.

The First Tee is a youth development organization introducing the game of golf and its inherent values to young people. Through after-school and in-school programs, we help shape the lives of young people from all walks of life by reinforcing values like integrity, respect and perseverance through the game of golf.
