Additional Supplies Needed: We will provide the required gloves, aprons and hairnets. Volunteers are also welcome to bring and wear their own baseball cap (instead of hair net). These items are required for health regulations when serving food.

Additional Notes: WHAT TO KNOW ON THE DAY YOU VOLUNTEER DRESS: Latex gloves, hair nets and aprons will be provided and are Health Department requirements. Volunteers are also welcome to bring their own apron or hat. Dress in casual clothes that can get dirty & tennis shoes. For your safety- no sandals or flip flops are allowed. Please remember we are a faith-based organization and we are serving food in a family-friendly, restaurant environment. Therefore, clothing should be in good taste- nothing too short, tight, offensive or revealing.
GATE ENTRANCE: Approach the gate, briefly step out of your vehicle, then press/hold the call button on the silver box for 5 seconds. Please allow 1-2 minutes for the staff to open the gate.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS: There are NO LOCKERS at this location. Please secure inside your vehicle.
BUILDING ENTRANCE: After parking your vehicle, enter through the door labeled Volunteer Entrance
VOLUNTEER ROOM: After entering the building, the volunteer room is located on the LEFT and the kitchen is located on the RIGHT. In the volunteer room, use the computer to sign in and out using your volunteer PIN. Clean aprons and sticker name tags are located in the volunteer room. Hairnets and latex gloves are available in the kitchen area or dining room area. Hairnets, gloves and aprons are required per health regulations.
MEET IN DINING ROOM AT 10:40: Enter through the kitchen wearing your apron and name tag. Introduce yourself to a staff member. They should be wearing a nametag or a GHFB shirt. Wait in the dining room area, where a staff member will give a brief welcome/orientation and delegate all volunteer assignments at 10:45. We appreciate volunteers being flexible with a missionary spirit. PHOTOS: We love volunteer photos and any staff member is happy to assist with this. Please also check-in and tag us on social media. To respect our clients’ privacy, the best time to take volunteer photos is before lunch service begins at 11:00am or after lunch service ends at 12:00.
Mission: The Master’s Table Soup kitchen is open EVERYDAY and serves a hot lunch to over 200 people. In 2010, we opened the doors to this 6200 square foot facility, complete with a prayer room, air conditioning and indoor seating. Volunteers will help staff members greet and serve guests with a welcoming smile.
