We would like the Day of Service volunteers to help with a Hope House campus Clean-Up Day. This will include sanitizing/cleaning our Therapeutic Childcare Center, cleaning our large catering style kitchen, getting the garden beds ready for winter (pulling up dead plants, spreading pine straw in plant beds, etc.), and any other cleaning activity we may find between April and November.
Additional Supplies Needed: We would like all volunteers to bring their own work gloves and eye protection (just in case). We will supply all the tools needed.
Inclement Weather Plan: Some of the activities will be inside so if the weather is inclement, we will have all the volunteers indoors. The Day of Service may just be shorter due to more hands cleaning.
Restrictions: Volunteers must be at least 10 years old. Every minor must have a parent or guardian present with them at all times. Both minors and adults will have to sign a confidentiality form (the parents can sign after explaining form to minors).
