Hope House strives to instill self-sufficiency in individuals and families through comprehensive treatment to end the cycle of substance misuse, untreated mental illness, and poverty. Our organization strives to empower individuals through prevention education, clinical treatment, and recovery supports to create sustainable change. Hope House’s ultimate goal is to help our individuals and families become self-sufficient as contributing members of society.

Every year Hope House admits over 150 women to our four programs. Most of them come to us with just the clothes on their back. Winter clothes, especially coats, are donated to Hope House but usually within the Summer months. We are tight on space so we are unable to store the coats/winter outerwear throughout the year. We would love for a volunteer group to host a coat drive for our women. Along with the donated coats, a encouraging note in each pocket would complete the volunteer project. “Coats with Notes”, would be an amazing way to make sure our women are prepared for the winter months!
