The mission of The Lydia Project is to provide cancer patients support for their financial and emotional needs, including lodging and transportation services, in order to facilitate their treatment and healing.

A virtual volunteer group(s) can make a difference for cancer fighter’s. The Lydia Project provides snacks (e.g., fruit cups, cheese crackers, granola bars, soups, ginger/peppermint tea, and more) every month to infusion rooms so cancer patients have snacks on long chemo days (and medical teams do not have to buy these items). The Lydia Project will provide an amazing virtual volunteer group with an equally amazing flyer to use in a ‘supplies for cancer fighters’ collection drive. The list will also include other items used to support cancer fighters, making this a highly successful drive. Visit thelydiaproject.org or find us on Facebook at thelydiaprojectaugusta to learn more why Lydia is the place to go for cancer fighters needing emotional and financial support. Your group can make an impacting difference. If choosing this project, please contact the agency for the most current needs/flyer. Register on myAugusta
