The RECing Crew offers and supports leisure and recreational programs for children and adults with special needs.
Volunteers will be helping with our adaptive Basketball program that we call, T-RecS. Our athletes have a wide range of ability levels and LOVE when it is AU Day of Service! Volunteers will buddy up with our athletes as they work with our coaches on their skills and the game of basketball. This program is always exciting and a lot of fun especially because our athletes love to show the volunteers how good they are. We will provide all the adaptive equipment that our athletes need to be successful and guarantee the most appreciated athletes you will ever meet! We will be inside at the Activities Center at Riverview Park in North Augusta using one of the assigned gyms at the park. Our program takes place on Saturdays, starting September 10 – November 19th from 10AM – Noon. We hope you can join us on November 5th.
