The Jud C. Hickey Center for Alzheimer’s Care’s mission is to provide life-changing programs with a dignified approach focused on living with Alzheimer’s or a related dementia through our innovative day program, community education and support, and empowering people to improve brain health as they age.

Our building is located on the corner of Central Avenue and Baker Street. We have a small outdoor garden and porch area that provides an environment where our members can enjoy their time outdoors and in the fresh air. From the rocking chairs on the porch, to the picnic table in the garden, there are many great ways to use this space for our programming during the cooler months. However, the space could use a little refresh to make it more welcoming. Following are some of the items on our list that would make it more inviting to our members: pressure wash porch and walkway, fix broken fountain, clean/paint, rocking chairs, pressure wash and paint picnic table, clean out garden beds, refresh pine straw in garden and around the building, spray paint iron handrail, refresh potted plants.
