The mission of SafeHomes is to transform victims of domestic violence into survivors. We believe that every person has the right to live without fear and that no one deserves to be abused. Through advocacy, we respect the intrinsic value of each client, regardless of where they are in their journey. Through education, we help end the cycle of violence, one family at a time. And through awareness, we empower our community to take a stand against domestic violence and support victims as they transform their lives into survivors.

Our house is powered by the generosity of community donors. We are especially in need of feminine care products (tampons, pads, etc.), Children’s School Supplies (paper, pencils, notebooks, crayons, etc.) and Household Cleaning supplies. Your volunteer team can make a BIG difference for our residents by hosting a donation drive to benefit our clients.

Women/Children Care Donations Drive

We ALWAYS have families that need help during the holidays. Sometimes have limited financial resources and sometimes they are just alone without a support system. Any support you and your team can provide would be sincerely appreciated. More detailed information for your assigned family’s wishlist will be provided should you choose this project.

Adopt a Family Holiday Project

When women and children arrive at our shelter, they are usually scared and lonely and in need of kindness and encouragement. We are asking volunteers to write simple notes of encouragement to these families who are working to get out of abusive situations and regain their independence. Your kindness will mean the world to them and bring big smiles to their faces during such a difficult time.
